Calshot brings together design, engineering and craft under one roof. We deliver complete projects from concept through to installation, including restoration, bespoke joinery, fabrication, mechanical systems and electrical integration.

Calshot is a working shipyard at James’ Wharf in Southampton, home to the city’s last operational dry dock. Engineers, joiners and fabricators work side by side, restoring vessels and delivering complex architectural projects with the same practical discipline.
The yard has evolved, but its foundations remain industrial and hands on. We move confidently between marine and architectural environments, drawing on decades of shared experience. What connects every project is respect for material, performance and proper workmanship.
Calshot Editions is a collection of made to order designs, from crafted furniture to custom fittings and hardware. Each piece is built in our workshops with the same attention to detail found across the yard, combining craftsmanship, function and longevity.
